7-ON-7 Football Tournament Concession Stand -

Watch some of the top area 7 on 7 football this Saturday, Jan 30th at Carroll high school. With teams from area high schools down to 5th grade on the field, there will be plenty of fast-paced offensive football on display. Games are slated to begin at 8 am on the field behind Durham intermediate and the Carroll High School (off White's Chapel.) Admission is free to the public. Concessions will be available and provided by Southlake Kiwanis, who is also the sponsor for the event. All monies raised by our local Kiwanis group are given back to the community and benefit programs for kids. Game schedules will be posted at http://www.primetimesportz.com/football/ . The June event raised over $3,800 and the club donated a large amount of the left over food to the Lake Dallas Boys and Girls Club.

Run for Kids - Mike Tesoriero

Southlake Kiwanis Club is sponsoring an annual 5K Run in May each year to raise money for our community service projects. This is an annual event. Our main sponsor for this event is Asics. The Run is put on by Run Time Racing Services using micro chips in timing the race. The 2009 rece race raised over $22,000. Read an newspaper article about the 2009 race.
